Christian Youth In Action® (CYIA™) is a CEF program designed to train high school and college students to reach the boys and girls of our community with the Good News of Jesus Christ. In a one to two week training school, these young people will learn effective and engaging ways to teach children about God--learning how to present the Gospel clearly on a child’s level, to counsel a child for salvation, and to lead a dynamic club ministry for kids.
After CYIA™ training, these young people team up with CEF-RI staff and return to their local communities to teach 5-Day Clubs. These clubs take place in the summer in apartment complexes, daycare centers, neighborhoods, schools, and other community locations. Effectively equipped with CYIA™ training, these young people are able to take the light of the Gospel to predominantly unsaved and unchurched children.
